I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the American University of Beirut.

I received my PhD from UNSW Sydney and held positions at the University of Sydney before joining the American University of Beirut in 2022.

 

My research focuses on fiscal and monetary policy, international macroeconomics, and development macroeconomics.​ My current research examines structural change in open economies, and monetary policy transmission and fiscal sustainability in emerging market economies.
